What tool for bed bolts?

Before I resort to drilling/cutting/welding-a-nut-to my bed bolts, I figured I'd try the old fashioned way of liquid wrench (or PB) and an impact. However, they look like they're not a lot of fun to get at.

I have dual saddle tanks to complicate things a little further.

In any event, since I'm by no means the first to do this, I'll ask the elders: what tools did you find allowed you to access the nut while still getting decent torque on it?

I'm hoping I'll be able to get a short socket and a universal and then an extension on it, but failing that, a wrench?
