Introduction

Time for an introduction. We picked up an 85 Chevy C10 stepside with 113,000 miles on her. Our two boys wanted to know how to fix up a truck and keep it running. The truck is a 350/700r4 and only needed a little mechanical work to keep it running. We replaced the Carb, fuel pump and all the rubber fuel lines. Everything else on the truck seems to work very well. We change all the fluids, gave her a complete tuneup and changed the shocks after she came home. It amazing how the wife and boys are getting into fixing her up. Next step is a posi unit and better gears, then sandblast the rims and repaint them with new caps and trim rings. The wife want sot replaced the benach seat with two buckets and a center jump seat.
I hope to learn a lot from all of you and post some pics of the progress.

Thanks,
Edgar
