After living in Boise 3 years I finally got my truck out of storage and brought it up here from Utah. My original plan was to drive her the whole way 260 miles but half way she broke down and had to get a ride from a flatbed..The problem was a mixture of things dealing with spark and bad fuel and I figure water and crap in the tank. Has anyone had problems running on ethanol fuel in these old motors, everyone I talk too says its bad, I found a few places that still sell fuel with out ethanol but I was wondering if maybe I should try adjusting the timing and a few things to make it run on the ethanol fuel, I def see a difference on the performance and will try to always just by the good fuel while its still available.
