Hello from Pa.

Hi all,

New guy here just wanted to say hey!

Great site, I've been looking around and there's lots to see and digest.

I've always loved the 60-66 models ever since my grandfather bought one new. Trying to find a pic of his so I can figure the year, a 64-66 is what I remember.

2 years ago, I inherited a 65 from my wife's uncle. It's a very unmolested basic truck. It shows it's age, but I think in a good way. No chrome, 230 six, and 3 on the tree. She's got low 70's on the odometer and had been stored in the shop since 1973. When I towed it home, all it needed was a battery and some gas. A little cranking and she fired up and idled nice and smooth.

I've got a short to do list, but mostly I've been just enjoying driving it around.

Here she is doing what a truck was born to do, hauling material. Ya gotta love an old girl that still knows how to work!
