Mount wood bed without the wood???

Hey everyone I have a 71 C20 with a wood bed. I just recently got the truck driving again. I pulled the entire bed off and tore it apart to clean repair and rebuild.

Now since it is a wood bed I need the wood in order to mount it to the truck correct?

I've never done a wood bed before that's why I ask. I won't have the money for the wood nor the bolts for some time now that's why I'm asking.
