700r4 shift linkage

Does anyone else know, or have input as to what shift linkage they used in swapping in an O.D.? There are several threads on here regarding swapping them in, but no details as to the linkage, so I assumed that the old TH 350/ 400 linkage would work on the 700R4 I am installing. (Not the case) I have all of the stock TH350 pieces (rod, frame brackets and intermediate piece that slips over stud n frame bracket). The selector shaft is different on the 700r4, so it looks like I will need to cut each of the two selector shaft brackets apart and make a hybrid. I am also looking at a lokar set up that eliminates the fulcrum and goes straight from the colum down to the trans. Has anyone had any experience with this piece?
