Question Radiator for 350/TH350 with Vintage Air

I noticed another thread recently asking about what radiator to use for a Vintage Air install. Rather than hijack that thread, which was about a different engine/trans set up, I'm going to start a new one.

I've got a 72 with 350 engine and TH350 trans and I'm slowly installing a Vintage Air system. Right now I've got a single core radiator and 5-blade non-clutch fan and I'm thinking that will need to change. I'm wondering if I can get by with a 3 core radiator and avoid having to get new hold down brackets or if I need to go all the way to a 4 core.

In either case, where can I get a OE replacement 3- or 4-core radiator for a good price? I checked prices in the catalogs and so far LMC has the best price at $290 (for the 4-core). Is there a better price to be had? There's not enough in the budget to go with an aluminum radiator/electric fan.

Thanks in advance, as always.
