Issues...
My 64 C10 has what's supposed to be a 86 305.
It has a aluminum 2bbl intake from...maybe 70s-80s and a older Rochester 2bbl carb. It runs alittle rough. There's no timing mark so we put a vacuum gauge on and it idles at 17-20 on vacuum gauge. So timing is pretty close. The intake only has 2 bolt holes, opposite from each other...which is weird. Carb has 4 bolt holes. I'll post picks of carb. It seems like a big POS... I've put about 100 miles on the truck. It just seems like it could run much smoother. Then....there's the trans. Its a TH350. It shifts from 1st to 2nd to drive in 30ft. Really fast. The vacuum is hooked to back of carb. I've never had anything shift so fast. Its...boom..in drive. Any opinions? Posted via Mobile Device
