Chris' 1950 3600 build thread

I've been wandering around this site for a while and I've now decided to start on my 1950 3600 5 window. The guy who owned it before me was "old school" body guy and put fiberglass everywhere!! He restored the floorboards and just put a piece of 16 gauge and tacked it in and fiberglassed over it. I might just cut it all out and start from scratch. Anyway, the truck is solid as a rock so not much is needed more than some minor body work. I've swapped the cab onto a 94 S10 frame. From what I've been told its easier to bag an S10 rather than going the IFS route due to building it on a budget. I'm going to shorten the S10 frame and bed to convert it to a SWB because of personal preference. I've gotta figure out my cab mounts because of the wheels I'm planning on running. I'm wanting to run a 24" wheel because I'm really into custom trucks and I like doing things different. Please, before commenting on my post.. If you dont like it, you dont have to. This is my truck and I would appreciate you keeping all negative comments to yourself. Regardless of what you may think, I'm building this truck the way I want. If it cant be done, then that's one thing, but If you dont like it then it is what it is. I appreciate everyone reading this and all the help I can get.

That being said, the coils and shocks have been removed on the front and I've tacked the cups/bags in place just for now. I'm waiting on my next check to get my control arms and I'll attempt to make my own 4-link. As I said above, I appreciate any and all help I can get on my cab mounts. I'm sure I'll end up stretching the fenders roughly 3". Thanks guys!!
