Best riding "comfort" shock?
Not that my 3/4T Longhorn will ever ride like my wife's Escalade with Magnetic Ride Control, but as part of my restoration I need a set of shocks, so might as well find out what will improve the ride!
So far the only option I've seen that's correct is the LMT "HD" gas-charged shock. If you read pretty much every other shock listing I've found, it says "Except Custom Camper and Heavy Duty", both of which are my truck. While I'd like it to remain stable on the highway, I don't plan on doing much if any towing and I certainly won't be road-coursing the thing, so really its a question of ride quality. Anyone have any experience with different shocks? Thanks! Dave
