Hubcap Retention Policy
Greetings--
I've been having trouble keeping my front left dog-dish hubcap on lately. Took a fairly sharp turn this weekend and off she went onto the local golf course. Fore! I did score some golf balls during my search so it wasn't too bad and ultimately did find the hubcap in the ditch. They are the original painted caps and are not in fantastic shape so it's not a huge deal, cosmetically speaking. That being said, I've just finished restoring my set of stainless caps that will be going on it soon and I really don't want those to start flying away on me. Any tips? My first thought would be to move it to a rear wheel to see if that helps during the turns or perhaps move the entire wheel to the rear. I can remember them falling off every now and again when my grandfather owned it that past 40 years so it's nothing new apparently. Thanks.
