Re: LS1 into a 73 cheyenne

after a 14 hr work day i briefly attempted to install one. first observation box was somewhat heavy i opened the box and the tubz were carefully covered in a blanket and taped across, i pulled the goods out and inspected them and they looked good i havnt fitted the bolt holes so i dont know if they will match out of the box i would imagine they need a bit of reaming to fit no biggy, as for the finish the gel coat was good, you will need to scuff them with a red scotch bright and shoot some high build, wet sand them with 400-600 and shoot youre sealer and there good to go. i invested 10 min. trying to install one, but i realized you have to remove a wheel and in order to install these you almost want to do it with the engine out, i will try this over the week end.
I am really satisfied with these tubz but keep in mind if youre installing these on a 73+ some modding will be necessary to clear hinges.
