bed paint

My 50 has great black exterior paint which comes over the top edges of the box and then it has a not full gloss paint on the inside with a slight texture. When I pulled out the old double plywood floor the angle strips were rusted so have cut them out and replacing with SS strips and oak bed wood. I need to redo the inside of the box and am not going to try and match the exterior gloss. What suggestions does anyone have. I have the box off the truck and live on an island that requires a ferry to get to a town with paint shop so would like to do something that can be done in ones own shop.
