Towing with an '04 1500 Sub....
So I bought me a nice trailer the other day (6 1/2 x 12). According to specs, it weighs 1,020 lbs. I'd forgot about the tow/haul option seein how I've always towed with my '86 and it doesn't have that option
![]() I realized it's need while driving in town cause it stays in gear a little longer. Only thing is, when I have it on and even tried with it off, if I have the cruise on, it doesn't take much of a minor incline for it to downshift and jump the RPMS to about 2800. It seems to stay with that for a bit. Eventually it'd drop back to just around 2K. Is that natural? Should I not be running cruise control when pulling? Didn't seem to be much of an issue when I kept my foot on the gas, but it made for a long road trip. I also think I need to upgrade my shocks as it squatted a little bit and that's with nothing on the trailer. Thanks for any info...
