COPO codes

Saw a 71 C30 truck at the junkyard last week and it had a COPO code stamped into the ID plate on the door pillar. I have never seen one before, but it read "COPO-CF-71-108". Anyone know what that might mean? The glove box door was gone and the truck didn't appear to have anything special about it. Thanks for your help.
