AmsOil

Well Ive been talking to a buddy who is a Amsoil Dealer and he has been trying to get me to run Amsoil in my 86 350 GMC for years, ive been running synthetic blend for a while and am going to pull the heads off the motor and get them re built when i put them back on i was going to put some Amsoil in it...My Question is would running the stuff in a older engine like that hurt it? it reads 141,000 but i know the motor has been rebuilt before, im just not sure when......i was thinking about going with the 10W-30 Signature Series 100% Synthetic Motor Oil along with a Amsoil EAO24 25,000 Mile Filter....would it really be worth my bucks to go with this or should i try something else? Thanks
