Project Rushin' Roadster - 71 K5 2wd

I purchased this '71 Blazer 2wd from a helluva guy out of Amarillo. It was originally advertised on this board by one of his relatives.

It looked like this with the other wheels...some around here may recognize it....

I'm not new to the modding world but I am new to the 67-72 so please please please chime in with suggestions. I want only the best on this truck. This needs to be a truck that holds the road, holds its value, and is incredibly modern/driver friendly. I know it's almost Sac-Relig to tear up a damn near perfect 71 but I wanted to start with a really good base-line truck and this one was just too perfect to pass up. Although the paint is in great shape, interior is wonderful, motor runs great, etc it's all getting ripped out lol

Parts already on order:

1. Full Porterbuilt Pro-Touring Mild-Coil Over Suspension (Front & Rear)
2. C6 Z06 Brakes courtesy of Kore3

Parts soon to be Ordered
1. Intro 22" Billets.
2. Moser Custom Built Ford 9" Rear (suggestions wanted)
3. LS3 Crate Motor with 6L80 Auto Tranny

Body work, paint, build will be done by Kustom Werx Autobody in Conroe, TX. I've known the shop owner for years and he builds nothing but the best (especially in the C-10 world - pics below).

Inspiration for this truck is gonna be something along these lines....

Some of Kustom Werx's previous builds....
