Show me pics of your CPP perches and mounts

I ordered a set of CPP perches to use with the Transdapt motor plates and mounts (already on the motor). I found that the CPP perch was 3/4"-1" narrower than the mount I had, however.

So, I called Scotts back and ordered a set of the CPP mounts and plates. Come to find out, these are the same mounts already on the motor. How can this be? Is it correct for the perch to be much narrower than the mount where it connects? If thats the case, then only the transmission crossmember would prevent lateral movement about the mount/perch bolts.

Can someone take a picture of theirs for me?

edit: found a pic

Hmm... I guess that is how they go. I assumed they would fit snugly like sbc/bbc mounts.
