wagonslayer Registered User Join Date: May 2012 Location: Poulsbo WA Posts: 57	Smokes in 2nd gear My 65 c10 with a 283 v8 and 3 speed smokes in 2nd gear while crusing/loping along but stops when I shift into 3rd gear, while I'm getting on it, it doesn't smoke as bad on at all. I just installed new valve guide seals and that didn't fix it. Sometimes it doesn't smoke at all. Any thoughts ?
