69 stepper finished (99%)
after 2.5 yrs jethro is finally on the road and legal again
this was never going to be a show truck or full restoration-just a quick weekend replacement of the wooden boards on the deck which then became a full bare chassis stripdown - always with the goal of having a pickup i could use as a daily driver, park anywhere and throw anything onto it without worrying about paint etc. it currently has a little 305/sw465/12bolt posi in it and this will eventually be replaced by a 292 i6 being put together slowly. things left to finish are : glovebox won't close because recovered dashpad has too much padding underneath diff gears are still 4.11 and will be changed to 3.78 hubcaps are being panelbeated by a mate and need repainting and fitting. 69 complete grille being tidied up by same panelbeater mate and will be fitted. pretty damn happy to be driving again tho!!! theres a build thread if anyones interested in some of my modifications!
