Steering column install advice, steering wheels

Hi, I put my ididit column in today (temporarily)and I was kind of excited until I put my seat in. Looks too close to my legs. This is a tilt column. I was thinking to move the column drop towards the seat which hopefully would elevate the column and then pull column the remaining inch it has sticking out in the engine compartment. I cannot pull the column towards the seat now because where the wiring comes out of the column won't allow.

Next is where do I buy a steering wheel? I didnt discuss this with Justin at Scott's hotrods. I really need a steering wheel!

Examples of steering wheels would be nice. ; )
