removing cab

Hello all,

I am planning on removing my cab pretty soon, couple questions. (1) I would like to leave the complete cab intact as I remove it since it is pretty much done as far as body work. Has anyone done this before.

(2) My thoughts were to remove the hood place one strap from the rad support to my chain hoist, and 2 straps thru the door openings with the doors slightly opended. Does this sound logical?

(3) What is the est weight of a complete cab doors, fenders, glass, ect.

Thanks in advance
