Replace glass in West Coast Sr mirrors?
I'd like to replace the glass in my west coast sr. mirror, and potentially have the mirror assemblies chromed rather than painted.
It's not obvious to me how you'd go about getting the glass out, though. They don't really appear to "come apart" in any non-destructive fashion, so far as I can see. Anyone know how to get them apart? Were they serviced/replaced only as an assembly back in the olden days if you broke one?
