75 chevy with a 700r4 trans

Hi, i'm new in here, i have read some of the articles in here... i have a 75 chevy c-10 scottsdale longbed, y have changed the tranny 350 for a 700r4, i dont know if it was a good idea or a bad idea, it has a rochester quadrajet carburator and it has the universal tv cable, it has been calibrated from the person that rebuild the transmission... my question is, that if i need something like an adaptor for the carburator ir of its going to work fine how it is... i want to post some pictures from the carb on my truck and a picture for my dad's truck, he has a 93 chevy silverado tbi carb... will apreciate any help... thanks...
