Wood bed over the metal one.
Hey all, I was just wondering how many of you have seen or used a wood bed over the top of a existing metal bed floor. I don't have $1000 for a new bed floor and thought I could buy the strips and use some lumber I already have for the floor. Would that work ok?
My metal floor is rusted through in spots and all dented up pretty bad, so not much luck of repairing it easily. What issues would I have with putting the wheel tubs back on? I use my truck alot for my cabinet building so using wood is easy for me but I want it to hold up to being used alot too. Any ideas? Thanks.
