Gauge wiring

Ok so i have a problem. I did an lt1 engine swap on my 1971 Chevy c10. and at the time I had the non gauge cluster and now I have a gauge cluster from a 72 gmc. I have changed all the pins around for the blinkers, fuel gauge temp (but I need to find a sending unit that will work for the temp), but I can get the battery to work on the cluster. I have the fuse able link still but its not on the block its strait to the battery, and I don't have the external regulator anymore I am running the lt1 alternator. How do I make it to run the battery gauge?

Thank you
