Go to www.tracyvette.com for a comprehensive listing of numbers. He is quite adament about not copying the table he put together or linking without his permission. On ebay there are two in the completed auctions with casting numbers 3733373 (57-59 truck V8) and 3704922 (55-56 auto v8) I believe the auto and truck are interchangeable.

My truck originally had a 235-3 speed. when I started taking it off road I swapped in a sm420 and 3/4 ton rearend with 4.56 gears. it would climb a tree but top end was 50. weak link was the stock clutch.
