Drive by cable "not" check this out

I saw this yesterday at a car show. This car was actually built by a good friend of mine. The motor was actually a hemi take out of a dodge truck. The car was mid fifties Plymouth I think. I know this is a Chevy thread but could give us swappers some othe ideas to retain our stock throttle pedals but still use DBW. As you can see the dbw pedal was laid horizontally and the foot part was cut and he used a regular street rod style pedal with cable to attach to the pedal arm. It works perfect. What really impressed me about this was the pedal assembly didnt look out of place on the engine. Man this has really got me thinking about My next dbw swap. Let know what you all think.
