Odd oil change

Changed the oil for first time in my 350. It has less than 2,000 miles on it. Stupidly put 10 40 in it instead of 10 30. Making 50-60 pounds at idle now and dipstick is reading way above safe level.

Am I thinking too easy an answer, or is this just getting used to how much oil she wants (or doesn't) after I drain it warm and put in 4 quarts?
