71 Rear bumper brackets???
Can anyone please tell me the correct positioning of the rear bumper brackets? should they be bolted either side of the frame, or bolted together on one side of the frame? (see pics) the pics show how they were fitted by the PO, I noticed also that the inner LH bracket was originally a RH inner, and has been modified by the PO (see pic). All of the above has made it imposible to fit my new bumper as the holes on the two inner brackets do not align with the new gravel guards or the bumper.
Oddly my old bumper fits with this bracket arrangement.
