Please rec. temp guage to replace original.

I got my truck back yesterday with a fresh 402 in it. It has a non-clutch fan and dumpy shroud that doesn't seal up against the 3-row rad very well, all left over from the 350 that came out. The fan whines like crazy so that is out for sure.

It really seems to be running very hot. With the original temp guage in it, it is running right up to the red and it feels like a heat bomb went off under the hood.

I would like to replace the temp guage with a new one that shows actual degrees but do not want to add one under the dash.

Is there one that will fit into the same spot as the original? and if so can you point me to it on the i'net.

Thank you.

Now on to changing fans and shroud, and hopefully not have to buy a new radiator. Do the electric fans make much noise?
