Exclamation Can only blame myself

Hello guys here's my dilemma. I Replaced cam shaft sensor, auto zone guy said that should clear the check engine light.Truck was running now its not,I cheked voltage going to new cps and got 12 volts it wont start or attempt to start I didn't move distributor I only removed rotor and cranked engine with coil wire removed(so no to start) until reluctor opening lined up with cps for removal could that mess up timing? since no success I also tried putting the old cps back in and nothing.Last but not least its my work truck so I feel like super Idiot! If someone can help me out Please and thanks!
