Frame Swap (uh oh)

So for a while now i have known my frame has been cut out where the motor mount stands mount to the frame, and the section above the rear coils is rusting and splitting. HERE is my question.

I have a 68 C20, i have access to a C10 frame. Can i put the 1/2 ton frame under my 3/4 ton??

All replies and opinions welcome, i appreciate all your knowledge and help folks, thank you.
