Gauge problems with 04 Yukon

Anyone had issues with the gauges on thier trucks? I have an 04 Yukon XL K2500 that suddenly spiked the oil pressure and voltmeter.

I had to replace a PCM about 2 months ago, due to it not allowing the alternator to charge. The mechanic that flashed the PCM told me that it was likely caused by a voltage spike, and all I had to do was to sweep the gauges back.

I have physically checked oil pressure and voltage, and both are normal. I have tried sweeping the gauges back with a magnet, as well as removing the faceplate and manaully sweeping them back. Magnet did nothing, sweeping them manually makes them work when I start the truck for the first time, but when I shut it off the needles stay, then spike the second time I start it. Truck gives no codes, Kinda at a loss at this point.

Any info or advice would be helpful. thanks
