$17 worth of piece of mind

I just put a crate engine in my truck about a month ago and, since then, the oil pressure gauge has only shown about 20 PSI. It never went up or down after warm up, just stayed at 20. I knew it was almost certainly a bad gauge (PO put a cheap Sunpro three gauge set in the truck) but I wanted to know for sure. I went to Advance auto and got a $17 replacement and it read 40 PSI warm. I knew it all along, but $17 was a cheap price to pay to feel much better about my new engine.
