2 Questions;heater hoses/trim

Hey Guys I have a few questions for you.

First one is about the heater hoses, I know the way they are supposed to be, but when I took mine apart they were swapped. Now I did a search and came up empty, but in my mind the heater core just acts as a pass through and it shouldn't matter which they are hooked up, but I could be wrong, so thats where you come in! Thanks fellas.

Secondly, where is the best place to buy trim at? I need to order like 3-4 pieces after the wreck(build thread) and was some quality pieces. I think we ordered the whole kit from goodmark back when we did the resto. So any help would be great.
