Heater Control / Cable Question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hey gang,

Quick question: I purchased a new heater control ass'y and cables for my non-A/C '70 stepper. What is the order of the cables on the control ass'y? Shortest cable to top (Def.), middle length cable to center (air/switch), and longest to bottom (temp)???? I want to secure the cables to the ass'y before I rip it all apart (DD). Also, what retains the loops on the cable to the arms? Are there pushnuts or some special clips?

I've looked thru the FAQ page and I'm still a bit confused. Don't want to use my usual "do it twice" method !
