The trick with these LS engines is the small 3mm ring packs they use to reduce weight and friction. The 364 uses the same 4" bore as the old gen 1 350, it just has a little more stroke. The 346 LS1 in my wifes camaro utilizes a smaller bore (3.9") but uses the same stroke crank as my 6.0.
Really odd how GM has changed things around from what most of us gear heads are used to.
