Thinking about ruining my truck...

I'm not happy with it anymore. I painted it back in 2006 and it just doesn't look good to me anymore. It's collected a few small dings, chips, a couple small bubbles have popped up, and I'd almost rather "patina" the old girl than try to keep her really nice. It looks way nicer in pictures than in person, I'll be the first person to admit that. I do, however, have a mustang that is nicer in person than in pics.

My dad loves Pontiac so I was thinking of some kind of Buick/Pontiac/Chevrolet service truck. Just a simple door logo with some lettering on the bed (sales, service, parts, etc?). I'd like to go with a medium flatish blue with MILD "patina". I don't want the rust look, but more old paint with a little "primer" showing. And I've always wanted a truck with CST trim.

You may be thinking, that would look strange on a stepside... it sure would. I have a short fleet bed for the truck.

Just curious if anyone has "ruined" their truck and wanted to go back? I'm not talking about a truck that was patina in the first place, but a nice truck. The patina process requires kinda thick paint and I don't think it would be fun to remove it all later.

I will leave the truck itself alone for quite a while. If I do anything, it will be on the "spare" bed first to test it out. Just throwing out what I've been going over and over and over in my head.

Oh... and a drop will finally be in order... something like a 3/5.

The "nice" toy I WILL NOT be touching
