swapping leafs out for coil rear end

hey guys, i'm looking to get a totally rust free 72 shortbed, only problem is, i want the coil spring rear setup, not the leaf spring. so i have a few questions. can i just swap everything over? I don't have the trucks here to look at the differances, and the second question is, is the long bed coil rear the same as the shortbed coil rear? because i was going to put a coil setup out of a 67 long bed. any help or advice would be great. thanks

oh yeah, and just to clarify, i'm talking about the ladder bars and the springs and the crossmember and everything, not just the axle.
