factory oil pressure guage - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Truck is an 87 GMC R1500. stock engine was 305 TBI, which was blown upon purchase. I put in an 85 305 block which was using an aftermarket mechanical oil pressure guage.

When I put in my 350, I just remained with the aftermarket mechanical guage, connected behind the distributor. Now, I am wanting to go back w/ factory oil pressure guage in the guage cluster. But I am not sure what wire I am looking for coming out of my harness & where on the block will it connect?

Any help is appreciated.
