Mounting clutch master cylinder on frame
I have a 5ML60 (NV3500) transmission I am putting in my '49. With this transmission I need to run a hydraulic clutch. My goal is run a clean firewall with nothing on it, so the master cylinder I would like to run on the frame.
The truck frame and suspension is stock. I do have the CPP Disc Brake kit on it with the brake master cylinder being mounted on the frame. So space is a little tight. I saw this over at Custom Classic Truck and was thinking I could re-create this setup for my '49 Chevy. How else have others handled a clutch master cylinder reservoir? Do you guys all run them on the firewall if anything?
