New Member from Alabama

hello all. I just joined. I am in the middle of my first purchase of either a 68 or 69 Chevy C10 swb. Actually i have aquired it by trade. I am switching out a cab and bed on a buddys truck and he's giving it to me for the work.
I have been a long time fan of the 60's early 70 chevys since i was a kid. Now i have my first chance to own one.
I've looked thru the forums a good deal and have enjoyed some of your builds. I will try to get pictures up as soon as we finalize.
looking forward to building this truck, i already have a media blaster lined up and hope to build it with a mild big block and hopefully 4 or 5 speed, but I may go automatic it will all depend on what parts i can find and budget, something to drive on the weekends here in south bama.
