77 fan shroud help?
I posted this to 73-87chevytrucks.com forums yesterday but got no responses, and I need to get something asap so here goes:
The truck is in the middle of installing the 383 in the pickup, and the old fan shroud is broken. No problem, I'll just order a new one. Except that the only shrouds available for the 76 and 77 show that they're for "no a/c". Well, I have A/C, and always have... Does it matter? Should I order a 76-77 without A/C and not worry about it? Is there a reason it won't work? Bolt holes in the wrong place? Is the shroud too small/narrow/short? Can I order the 78-80 shroud for A/C? Why does 76-77 have so many oddball parts!? Thanks guys! |
