LS3 Conversion - 67 C10
Alright gentlemen and all others. I was saving to do this project by 2013 mid-spring but seemingly lost compression in the #3 & 6 cylinder on my SB400 on my way to work last month. Block crack
My granddad and I had done that engine back in 1997, it had served me faithfully, but was due to die soon; it was my highschool engine and served me well even under the brut force of a 16 year old foot. Alright, purchased an LS376/480hp connect & cruise engine from PacePerformance with a few accessories. Looking at two issues thus far... my fuel (tank) and my gauge set up. Any recommendations? Right now running with a rear fill, rear-mounted tank I bought from LMC truck (21 gal) about 7 yrs old. Would like to continue to use it but don't know if there is a kit out there to convert to an internal pump or external pump that wont quit on me every 15-20k miles and wont cost what a new fuel cell will cost And the gauges... thinking about www.dakotadigital.com or a www. http://boeseengineering.com setup, see website (67-72) dash clusters. HELP ME OUT!
