Mid-'80s seats? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

When I was a teenager, we had a 1986 4x4 Suburban with captain's chairs up front, but the best part was the dual-side armrests built in. In 1992, they got rid of the armrest next to the driver's door so you had to use the one that was incorporated into the door panel.

I'd like to get a set of these '80s seats and try to get them into the 1971. I searched the site looking for anyone who's tried it, but I got bupkus.

Anyone know how difficult/easily they fit?
