There is really not much literature and information available on these low production GMC's of the 60's, not unless you were around back then and remember.

The plaid valve covers weren't a promotion,there was a rocker arm recall (I believe that's what was recalled) and the valve covers went on to identify the ones serviced.

There was plenty of literature on the V6. GMCs weren't low production and the V6 was very common. No V8 was offered in the '60s till a rare few in late '67

Looks like it has a 69/70 hood,grille (68/69/70),and surround. I wager '70 since the interior door panels are '70. A true '67 but fixed up using parts from a '70 truck.
