Better Exhaust Donuts

Hey all. Here's the deal. I have 72 k/5 with a 350 sb with stock exhaust (manifolds, pipes, etc.). When I restored the truck about 2 years ago, I replaced the donut gaskets with the Napa ones. They only lasted about 2000 miles before burning up. So I just replaced them again and after another 2000 miles they're shot. The guys a t Napa told me this was normal. I drive my truck A LOT so I'm tired of replacing them. Question is, do any of you know of a brand of exhaust donuts that will last a considerable amount of time? Thanks.
