Getting Ready To Drop

First of all I just wanted to thank everyone on this board for the wealth of information that can be found here. As I stated in a previous thread, my son and I decided we needed a project we could to together and he recently choose the '70 C10 restoration and I have become the funding source . Seriously though it is providing for some valuable time with my son and I.

Anyway... we have the bed off and the front clip and cab are coming off today and I am thinking that the next step is to install a 4/6 drop kit. I am very mechanical but not a mechanic and my son is in the body work business. Any thing we need to know if advance? Also, I am looking at the drop kit form Early Classic for it seems to be popular here, any thoughts on kits and from where?

Any and all feedback, comments, suggestions, etc. on this topic are greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

BAT
