Thumbs up Free Transmission up to $1000 (Score !)

My brother-in-law went to a golf thing today and hit (2) golf balls inside a transmission case from 50 yards and won a free transmission up to $1000. He called me and told me if I wanted to get a trans for my truck I could use his winning
Very cool of him!
I put in a request and pricing for a few different transmissions.
I am sure I could pay a litte extra if its more then $1000.

I wonder how I could pay him back?
He sells cars and I always try to recommend people even though he sells fords . But only one person has bought from him and it was a lease.

I hope it all works out I could really use a new trans and get ride of this sm465
I would like to stick with manual, but if I cant find what I want then I may get a nice 700r4. What would be a good manual trans to get, maybe one from a car? I am looking for street performance, not towing of climbing.
Transmission is from Cottman.
